6.1.Purpose of practicum The purpose of the practicum is to prepare a good future teacher by teaching in another country and taught how to be a real teacher. From this program, the student teacher can improve their English skill both in the teaching in the classroom or in communication with the other people. The practice can build the relationship and also can have a new family in the other country, also for improve our knowledge about culture of another country and to respecting other country cultures. 6.2.Procedures of practicum Along the Teaching practicum I was accompanied by my cooperating teacher Ma'am Melani Petero and my Supervisor Ma'am Blesie. 5.1.Procedure of teaching I have two kind of teaching procedure, the first one is the traditional procedure (I used the same method as the teacher) and the second is the modern procedure. 4.1.Planning for teaching The teacher manually made the lesson plan. Teacher have to make the lesson plan for a week or for the whole topic. Because one topic usually can be done in one week. Teacher can’t teach the class if he doesn’t have the lesson plan. The lesson plan is the simple lesson plan. These are the steps that teachers in TAU-Laboratory school do in planing for teaching: * Check topic to teach * Study the topic * Prepare learning materials * Make a lesson plan * Submit to head master 4.2.Preparing lessons and materials The teacher prepared the teaching materials by his own, the base for making the teaching materials is the textbook.
