TEACHING EXPERIENCE (3)

Today is third time i teach. as usual i taught in 3 class, i begun my lesson at 7.30 - 9.30 am in grade 7 Agrihome class, and continued my lesson at 9.30 - 10- 30 pm in grade 7A Science and last at 11.00 - 11.30 am in grade 7B Science.  

I taught about Chromosome, Gene and DNA. I began with asked them " what do you know about Chromosome, Gene and DNA?" "where is the location of Chromosome, Gene and DNA". they replied with various answers. After that I showed a video and expain them about how are genes organized in the chromosomes and how  genes in the chromosomes play an importent role in heredity and variation. after that to make sure that the students understand about the lesson, i give them a seatwork to be answered by themselve

CLOSING CEREMONY  Today is Closing ceremony and we have some surprise, our hostel has a guest and they are Our Student from Lab School, it was nice to meet them, some of us is crying because of have to leave them, and i got a sketch from them ~, but after that, Kuya Lao is coming to the hostel and told us that we have to create slide about what we already done in one month for presenting in the Closing ceremony, and it will be held in 30 minutes. So we made a presentation as fast as possible to show what we already learn today. we get to the Closing ceremony on time and then i am presention, i explained about the teaching session of my internship and all the things that’s happened we are doing for one month. 6TH BATCH SEA-TEACHER & 2ND BATCH SEA-TVET 2018 TAU And then the impression from SEA-TVET by Ichsan Ali (IPB) and from SEA-Teacher by Rusdi (UNRAM) but Rusdi has a problem so he cant do the speech. Meanwhile Ali’s speak was so touching, it made me feel missing them,

# Observation School Day 1 Today i have Tagalog Class on the College of Education. Tagalog class is held by Mrs. Tess. We learn about history, Greetings and Leave Takings,  Family, numbers, Money & Time, Buying & Bargaining, Cooking and also Expressing Food Preferences. This activity is very interesting and also very useful as long as we are in the Philippines . After the class we get back to the dorm. At 13.00 pm we go back to the College of Education, we started to brief about the Goals of SEA-Teacher Project, and the “ Creative Portofolio ”. After met our mentor and try to discuss about our teaching schedule, teaching method and teaching subject. My cooperating teacher, Mrs Melani Petero invited me to her class. It is my first time to observation. When I came in the class, I should introduce my self first. Well in a class, there were 45 students! Imagine, you have to speak (teaching) in front of 45 students and in english in the first time. 45 students mean 45 thin
